By applying our Clay Primer to an existing surface — even previously painted gypsum board in sound condition — you can create a substrate to which our clay plaster is capable of bonding, thus opening up design possibilities.
Method of Application: Surfaces must be firm, dry, absorbent, clean, free of grease, dust, and other loose particles. Old coats of lime wash and loose paint particles need to be entirely removed. Stir well before use. Apply thinly and evenly with a roller or a wide brush. BioShield Clay Primer should also be the preferred choice for other brands of clay plaster.
Ingredients: Water, Marble Dust, Granular Marble, Alcohol Ester, Phosphate, Sodium, Preservative.
Color: Milky White.
Coverage: 200-250 square feet per Gallon.
Drying Time: Three to six hours, depending on room temperature and humidity.
